Hark At Them! is an honest, transparent, eclectic ttrpg review blog.
I promise to be honest, to actually tell you what I think, and what I've done. I'm busy. I don't always have time to read a full book, let alone play a full campaign, so some reviews might be vibes only. Some reviews will be more, when I can. If I don't like something about it, I'll tell you, but I'll always tell you what I do like as well.
Also I'll be transparent. If I've worked on something, or if I'm friends with the designer, or if I hate the designer, I'll say. I'll let you know if I bought it first hand, or second hand, or if I was given it. I'll just be honest.
What do I mean by eclectic? Well, I love the review sites and podcasts out there that I've seen. I just wanted ones that looked at the weird esoteric stuff that I buy or collect. I think zines don't get enough attention. I think small scale projects slip through the net. I think old stuff that's not actively bad or massively famous gets forgotten. Those are the things I'll probably look at. But not exclusively? Because I'll probably just review stuff that I buy, so it'll be my taste or that of my kiddo.
And at the end of the day: I just want to have fun, and develop my craft. So don't expect too much deepness here.
